General Music/Keyboards
All students at the Club have an opportunity to learn about music and enhance their academic skills through singing, moving, playing keyboard and acquiring music literacy skills. Throughout the year these beginning students are given an opportunity to perform in informal concerts for their parents, as well as participate in projects that combine the arts and academics.
Advanced Music
Students can choose to continue their musical interests in piano class, which combines keyboard skills, singing, and an introduction to music technology (composing and recording music) on our club iPads. Students continue to work on their academic skills by analyzing music scores and exploring music from
around the world. These students perform in a December and May concert annually.
Band
Students in fourth grade and above are offered the opportunity to learn to play a wind or percussion instrument and participate in the Club band. The band performs in various venues appropriate to the skill level of the students.
Guitar Classes
Students in middle school and high school are offered the opportunity to learn how to play the guitar. With lessons several times per week and lots of practice, the students prepare for public presentations.
Choir Club
Students who enjoy singing are invited to join our Choir Club. Members of this club practice several times per week as they prepare for public presentations.
